ORIGIN STORY

Driven by systems that have to work.

Zachary Handshoe and Michael Butterfield met at ExxonMobil in 2020. Working on a machine learning team, they built a data-centralization and prediction platform that generated over $700M in value in under a year.

They realized that media and mission-critical operations share the same need: uncompromised real-time data. SpatialGen was born to bridge that gap for 3D data.

SpatialGen presented its platform at Apple, showing how the same infrastructure mindset applies to the most demanding media formats.

That conviction drew backing from Brickyard, LAUNCH, Light Bank VC, and angels from Apple and the creative technology community, marking their first investments in spatial computing.
